I'm involved with a few geek groups & geek girl groups here in Australia who I know would love to see you if you have time to stop here on your way to NZ (it's closeby I promise!). Would be great to get you out to do a talk here if I can secure funding for it. I just emailed Gina Trapani, who I know through my Lifehacker Australia days, to ask her to introduce us - internet invitations out of the blue probably aren't that appealing. :) I realise your trip is quite soon, so I thought I'd leave a comment here too.
