I think that Wikipedia is best served by authors who write with commitment to the facts not by political actors trying to make a point.

Is Wikichix is a sexist organization? I think that it is, at least by the wikipedia definition:

We are talking separatism. All the female “speakers” at this public forum didn’t just happen to be female. Gender is the criteria on which participation is based. It’s sex based discrimination. It sucks.

I also don’t think that a revision war over feminist scifi proves that wikipedia is male dominated. I don’t see any evidence supporting that conclusion. I don’t see any examples of systematic sexual bias presented on the Wikichix site either.

Be bold. Replace “mankind” with “humankind” globally on Wikipedia. I bet you won’t see too many reverts.

As a guy, the really frustrating part is that I can’t go find these guys who are discriminating against women so I can beat them up.(-:

[zombie] Technology needs BRAAAAIIINS!!! [/zombie] Who cares about sex, race, orientation, etc.? Intelligence is scarce enough, without discriminating against people based on secondary criteria.
