In which I am dugg
Apparently I was on the front page of news recommender site Digg.com the other day — an interbloggy sort of honor — for a post I wrote at Table of Malcontents about why Battlestar Galactica may be doomed as a show. Fans came out in droves to tell me how wrong I am, despite the fact that my list of 10 reasons the show is starting to blow are pretty undeniable. At least now I’ve had the pleasure of being told by hundreds of people that I shouldn’t criticize BSG because: 1. the show is the only good thing in their lives and/or on television; and 2. I am not a TV producer and thus don’t know what I’m talking about. Read my controversial post.

Sister, you are so right. El sharko he jumpado. Sigh.

I didn’t want to use the shark jumping words, but I fear you may be right. The fact that I’m actually *looking forward* to more “on the Base Star” plots is indicative of a general decay in the show’s winsomeness. But hey, it could be a ST:TNG season 2 thing and I’ll be eating my words next year.

I guess it’s all a matter of personal opinion. I am still in love with the show, and the boxing episode was one of my favorites.
But it’s ok if you don’t like it and I do. I’m not sure why everyone thinks their opinion is the only one that exists in the universe, and that everyone should agree with them. It’s alright for us to have different likes and dislikes, right?

It’s alright, but it’s not recommended.

Don’t worry ’bout the angry feedback. You’re entitled to your own opinion. I myself like the show, and I hope it won’t spiral downward as “Angel” did. Man, I’m still pissed at how “Angel” was trashed.
